Important Information & Deadlines
Please note the following important dates:
- The deadline to officially withdraw from the team is Sunday, January 1, 2023. If you do not withdraw prior to this date, you will be responsible for your fundraising commitment in full, which is $7,500 for charity runners and $2,500 for qualified runners.
- The deadline to register with the B.A.A. is Monday, February 6, 2023. You will receive an email directly from the B.A.A. with a unique link to your registration the week of January 9th.
- B.A.A. registration is online only.
- You will be receiving an email directly from the B.A.A. in December prompting you to create an account on the Athlete’s Village Portal – once this has been created, please refer back to your original email and click on your unique link provided to complete the registration process and officially register for the 127th Boston Marathon.
- The total fee paid to the B.A.A. by invitational entrants at the point of event registration for the 127th Boston Marathon will be $375
- IMPORTANT: If you do not register by the deadline by the deadline, you will forfeit your number and you will still be held to the fundraising minimum. No exceptions or extensions.
- Qualified runners will receive separate instructions from the B.A.A.
- The deadline to fulfill your fundraising commitment is Friday, May 12, 2023. If you have not reached the minimum of $7,500 (or $2,500 qualified runners) on GivenGain by Friday, May 12 at midnight, your card will be charged. All offline gifts must be submitted to the gift office at least one week in advance to ensure that gifts are posted in time for the deadline.
